This year, the US Department of Agriculture released the first USDA Food Safety and Inspection Service data to track the growth of feed cattle for meat consumption.
The data, compiled by the USDA, shows that the feed cattle industry grew to 2.7 billion pounds in 2017, up from 1.6 billion in 2016.
This is an average of the past five years.
The numbers show that for the past 10 years, feed cattle has accounted for about one-third of all beef consumed in the US.
But while the industry has been growing in the past few years, the meat industry is still struggling to grow.
Here’s what you need to know about how meat is made, what it tastes like, and how you can help.
